In this modern love story, Olivia has been fired. It is December 24th, and she sits in a coffee shop with her desk in a box at her feet, while she weighs her options. She looks at the Polaroid pictures she has taken, wondering where the lucky signs have gone and what she should do next. On the same day, destiny is calling Diego. Devastated by the suicide of his brother, Diego relies on the laws of physics to help him understand. Neither Olivia nor Diego recalls their first meeting.
