The big tree isn’t just any tree, it is king of the forest. For 300 years, lovers have rested in its shade, and animals have settled on its branches; it hardly deserves to be cut down as a Christmas tree. Waking up in St. Peter’s Square in Rome to your home being decorated with bows and lights, is hardly something your average squirrel takes lightly – the tree must be saved! With the help of city pigeons, he asks the people in charge (a Pope, a Rabbi, and a Dalai Lama) to intervene with a miracle. A witty and joyful ode to nature.
