The War (The Hour of the Damned, Vol 3)

The “Damned” finally meet in Earthly Paradise, where the Messenger Matelda is on a mission to exterminate the unpurified souls who have taken unlawful refuge there. Pier delle Vigne convinces everyone that the Messengers’ existence puts the relative peace of Earthly Paradise in danger. He seeks to neutralize them once and for all by recovering a sword from the Valley of the Princes with which he will cut ties between the worlds. A dangerous journey that will ultimately lead the Damned to an apocalyptic and surprising finale.
