After a minor cerebral hematoma, a young mother finds herself talking to all sorts of plants and animals she has never even met. This extraordinary yet bizarre gift leads her to a job at a private investigative agency. She and her dog Harlequin join investigators Cantoni and Tonino in resolving the case of a thirty-four-year-old former drug addict found dead in her condominium. While her colleagues are out interrogating people, Anna consults with her Great Dane, the garden plants, a suicidal pigeon, and two elderly turtles. A fresh and amusing approach to the mystery genre.
