It is 1936 and Marco, a dreamy prodigious son, returns home to his mother who lives in Alessandria. In a city where Orthodox Greeks live side by side Italians, Armenians and wandering Jews, Marco will be forced to choose between two women, the wealthy Dinah and the rebellious Kiki. His choice will have overwhelming repercussions for everyone around him.
