It is 1936 and Marco, a dreamy prodigious son, returns home to his mother who lives in Alessandria. In a city where Orthodox Greeks live side by side Italians, Armenians and wandering Jews, Marco will be forced to choose between two women: the wealthy Dinah and the rebellious Kiki. His choice will have overwhelming repercussions for everyone around him.
