What is the state of contemporary Italian women? You can’t tell from the media, which is saturated with images of objectified women: escorts, models, and women determined to be beautiful no matter the cost, who wield their attractiveness like a commodity.

This book aims to spotlight the ‘normal women’ who are not represented in the media.
