Ever since Chiara was a child, her two fathers, Giancarlo and Angelo, have alleviated her sorrows with their poetry, love and tolerance. Because of those teachings, Chiara is once again able to smile after the passing of Giancarlo. She and Federico have begun a new life together in Rome, and they are happy. That is until out of nowhere, Chiara’s mother/non-mother appears at their doorstep with a secret and a suitcase. Her smile is chilling.
