A charming romantic comedy set in Rome, a place like no other. Massimo is a wayward waiter who owns a cafè in the center of the Eternal City. Although he is surrounded by women, he has never been in love. Perhaps this is because he spends all of his time serving coffee and pastries to his adoring and gossipy clientele, including Maria, the sick, homebound, elderly woman who lives across the street. Massimo visits her every morning to bring her coffee and lift her spirits, because she has no one to take care of her. When he hears the tragic news that she has passed away, he worries about what will happen to her home and belongings, until he meets Geneviève, a mysterious, French, green-eyed woman who is one of Maria’s distant relatives. Massimo sets out to court her with coffee and the sites of Rome, but unfortunately she only drinks tea, and is hiding a dark secret. Will love overcome these obstacles before Geneviève has to return to France?
