Razos is born from a desire to explore an uncharted territory: reflection on the word and the layering of poetic text. Drawing on the tradition of medieval razos – brief prose compositions from the troubadour era that illustrated the reasons, purpose, and instructions for the subsequent poetry – Voce creates a silent book: a book of poetry without poems. Echoing the 20th-century avant-garde and drawing on medieval themes like mathematics and geometry, or contemporary ones such as computer science and physics, Razos reflects the intersection between the troubadours and the visionary spirit of Fluxus, in that space that separates poetry from life, and which, paradoxically, ensures its persistence and strength.
