What is a literary agency and what do we do?

A literary agency promotes the authors it represents exclusively, ensuring that their works are nurtured, published and protected, and that copyright is respected.

We manage all rights, promote works in every country and participate in the main international book fairs: Frankfurt Book Fair, London Book Fair, Salon du Livre de Paris, Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, with regular newsletters and a presence on social media that best serves the individual authors.

Vicki Satlow has been working in publishing since 1990, first in New York and then in Italy. The agency, founded in 1998, represents authors and acts as a sub agent in virtually all territories, for publishers and other agencies. We seek properties with international potential and offer creative, professional, and legal guidance to our clients.
