Irene Vella
Irene Vella is an Italian journalist, television correspondent, and author. She has published books with Piemme and Feltrinelli, and has written for numerous national outlets including La Voce di Romagna, TuStyle, Donna Moderna, Visto, Vanity Fair, and other weekly magazines from the Mondadori and Cairo Editore groups.
After making her debut in print media, she moved into television, where she worked for many years as an on-air correspondent for programs such as Cristina Parodi Live, X-Style, Notorius, Mattino 5, Pomeriggio 5, and Verissimo, covering current affairs, culture, and human-interest stories.
She is currently a columnist for DiLei and the creator of the narrative project “Era mia figlia”, which became a media phenomenon with over 66 million views and inspired the eponymous book published by Solferino in 2025.
