Turtles Always Come Home to Nest

Even the simplest of creatures, like man, yearn to return home.

Salvatore is shy and intense, the son of a fisherman and his wife who live year-round on Lampedusa. Giulia is impetuous and enterprising, the daughter of a wealthy businessman. Salvatore and Giulia have spent every summer together for as long as they have known each other. During an idyllic moment together, they notice the dead body of a black boy washed ashore. Shipwrecked and drowned during their long journey to Europe, the bodies of other men, women and children follow. The shocking realization will bind them together and change them forever.
