The Little Buddha

There is a Little Buddha within all of us. Even now, 2,500 years later, all the Buddha’s are still within and outside of us, smiling.

The book that inspired the film. Giovanni Mastrangelo’s interpretation of the Sanskrit text invokes the call of Buddha like a musical theme. It echoes the repentant words of Brahmin-speaking goats, and the spirits of bearded trees, telling this philosophical Buddhist parable almost like a child’s fairy tale; the first, small, boundless Buddhist initiation.
